Cults and Counterfeits

This class begins by looking at the basic unifying beliefs that form the foundation to the false religions and cults throughout history. It then takes a historical and systematic approach to the study of the major cults in the world and that the students are most likely to encounter. The cults are defined by those whose origin are Christian yet do not adhere to orthodoxy. In addition to this, it looks at how these beliefs have shaped the secular culture that we live in today.
